Forget video, Zoom wants to fuse Slack and Teams

Remember when Zoom was just our pandemic movie-chat app? Now the service is including collaboration options of all stripes, which includes translation, whiteboarding, and even voice mail, while hard established gamers like Microsoft Groups and Slack.

Zoom kicked off its Zoomtopia consumer meeting by saying a ton of new features, par for the study course during the whirlwind times of the pandemic when Google, Microsoft, Zoom, and other folks competed for consumers. Now, as the earth moves into a hybrid function environment, Zoom is seeking to seize a greater share of both equally in-human being and remote personnel. (Zoom hedged its bets by indicating that these are “future prospective jobs.”)
